Great movie. Ann Rice was pissed that they cast Tom Cruise as Lestat, thinking that he couldn't pull it off.

Once she saw the movie she paid for a full page ad to apologize and praise Cruise's take on the character and how well he pulled it off.

If yes, you have to read "The Tale of the Body Thief" - Probably the best of the sequels. Ridiculously great story.
