Holy ****, I think I just solved a major problem. There was a program (HP Support Assistant and I think another associated program) that I didn't realize was taking up around 60% of my CPU's power, which would explain why there was so much lag when I tried streaming Link to the Past yesterday. It might also explain why I my Dino Crisis videos were so laggy. Ended the task, disabled it on startup, and now my stream seems to be working a lot better.
Don't know if this means I'll be able to record PS1 games on my emulator, but I'll take this victory regardless. **** Hewlett Packard.
Will probly do a stream today in a few hours. Might pick up Super Metroid or start Chrono Trigger. I really miss playing Chrono trigger, and it's not a grind heavy game (I don't know how you would stream a Final Fantasy game, unless you already had a big audience to pick up your slack by competing to make the most pithy comment in chat while you grinded).
