Escape from Hellview: This seems a bit more generic than Volume 1. Not bad but more generic. Not sure if that was the solo but interesting. They used an oscillator. Really cool.

Flesh Into Gear: Heavy riff with some synth in the background, cool.

Sink Into the Underground: Seems like the band is trying really hard to copy their past stuff. Which gives it a forced feel. Not bad, but not amazing like vol. 1

Attached At The Hip: Yes! This is an awesome verse! I don't remember so much synth stuff before.

Frenetic Amnesic: Cool intro. Songs have all been a bit generic so far.

Shock and Terror: This riff feels like it was lifted straight out of that first record. The lyric, "the shock and Terror keeps me sane," is going to be stuck in my head. It's really catchy.

Plastic Plan: Good song. Feels a bit generic again.

Inhuman Creation Station: I love this riff! Holy shit! This song is awesome!

Sporadic Movement: Wow! This is getting so much better. Love this riff. Love this song!

Close Yet Far: Final song is slowing things down. Is that a pan flute in the background? It's cool to see this band trying something different... And we're back to the generic alternative sound.

Final thoughts are that this record was an attempt to sound like the popular alternative music. It feels generic and forced. That said, it's not bad, it has its moments and it has at least two really good songs.

Favorite Track: Sporadic Movement
Yeah, I don't love this record as much but all the songs (bar Escape From Hellview, I sometimes switch that and Shock and Terror's order when I play this) still connect with me pretty well. My favorites are Attached at the Hip, Flesh Into Gear, Inhuman Creation Station, Frenetic Amnesic, Shock and Terror, Sporadic Movement, and Close Yet Far. The last one is a little more feely in retrospect as the kind of retro-active tribute to Ryan Dunn and Bam's relationship.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
