I wonder about that poll. The question is "do you favour or oppose passing stricter gun control laws", which could be interpreted by some as "do you favour or oppose Obama coming into your home, personally killing your family, and leaving with all of your guns". Then I guarantee that if you ask those people if known terrorists should be allowed to purchase guns, the majority of those who said that they oppose it would like say that they were against known terrorists buying guns.
