It's been a few months since the last round, where Metallica won against Slayer 9-6. So now here we are with another great band from the Big 4 in an attempt to take down the mighty Metallica.

Megadeth

Dave Mustaine will get his chance at revenge this round, and will be bringing everything he's got. Mainstream metal fans will most likely still prefer Metallica, but the deeper core fans may turn up in huge numbers to cast their vote for the 'Deth.

My Verdict

In this particular election, Megadeth is getting my vote. Clearly the better band of the two, despite the other's more widespread popularity. More consistent album releases, more anger, especially in this year's Dystopia, and despite the band's creative up's and down's, still releases material that outshines Metallica's sparse output over the last twenty five years.
