My musical 'life' started growing up with a range of classic rockl- The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queen and T-Rex featured heavily, as well as current bands at the time like Oasis and Blur. There was also a lot of ska and reggae at my house. I had a brief foray into pop and r&b as a kid trying to keep up with my peers, before I realised how personally I find most of it is trash and returned to my original listens, and started getting deeply into the blues and country. I hooked onto The White Stripes when I was about 13 and my music taste has evolved out of that. I was introduced to Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Thin Lizzie and Guns n Roses by my older brother as a teenager too. I've spread out a bit now, but I'd still say I predominantly listen to rock (classic and new), country and a bit of pop music.
