Do you want the whole movie to be the same thing? No twists or turns?

If the movie is titled Batman VS. Superman, I'm sure most fans wanted to get to the action. The hype was too much for fans and it surely disappointed how long that the set up took to get to that scene. It's the same thing with Civil War, the build up towards the airport scene which fans were waiting for the entire time took a bit to get there. It was just a more interesting ride getting to the airport scene.

A true Batman fan wouldn't say that. So I used to be on the other side of the gun and bring up the fact that in the 50s or so one of the earlier comics. Batman used a pistol but that was only one instance. The whole motto behind Batman is that he doesn't use any lethal weapons. All of those gadgets that he has are non-lethal and he rules on the side of justice. Letting the criminals be taken by the cops to do jail time. It's against his entire morality to use a gun to actually kill someone off and deal a lethal blow.

I'll give you a pass because I know you aren't a comic book nerd to know this stuff but that's what comic book nerds were pissed off about. Casual watchers wouldn't have noticed the difference.

I agree except for the points I mentioned.
