No I get that. But after watching Black Mirror I'm getting jaded about dry humor. I found the movie unsettling more than anything. I didn't realize it was the Dogtooth guy until I re-read your post so I'm watching it and thinking how much it reminded me of that flick. Well, duh.

I was seeing some humor up until the crazy chick killed David's brother. From that point on it was total dystopian darkness for me.

Again, major props to the two leads, who've been always rated high in "sexiest" polls, for baring everything for the movie.
