That's exactly what I wanted to happen. Rob the experiences from her husband and daughter. Her husband that didn't exist yet and the child that didn't exist only she knew of those experiences and would still know of those experiences even if she did kill him. She would still have memories of a life that didn't end up happening just to exert control over her life and it's destiny.
