I think the lead vocalist of As I Lay Dying is the only person in metal I've seen that was actually ripped... I guess Jericho fits under that umbrella... maybe? Where's Qwertyy? I need his opinion.
And I don't think I've ever seen someone shirtless on stage at a metal show.
I do see these traits at punk shows...
Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd argue that the punk scene is more masculine then the metal scene.
