well.. i've seen well over 500 bands... starting to make a list now and wouldn't be surprised if it tops 1000.... About half of them at Festis of course (where it's easy to see 10+ bands a day...)...

Mogwai - Saw them a few weeks ago - bloody amazing and VERY loud!
Arcade Fire - Best group I've seen in last few years... can't express how good they are live and recommend them highly enough
Soulwax - Seen them a few times the last year. Most consistently great live indie band on the circuit
