"The way we are shown" is usually made up of drawings as opposed to actual solar imaging because it's easier to teach that to the layman.

I've already answered this. If there's nothing to evaporate and create a tail from the sun, then the sun shouldn't have a tail. Let me know if you have any actual evidence, because evidence of Halley's comet is only evidence of Halley's comet.
