I don't know if it's true, but based on my limited knowledge:
The solar system is closed or isolated system? The solar system as a whole has a tail (as I showed with the video that you called a cartoon), but the things inside of it do not because they are all moving together.
Kind of like if you put a comet inside of something and sent it through space it wouldn't have a tail.
