that's certainly up for debate. flat earther's also believe the earth is stationary, and that the sky revolves around it. that literally means we're the center of the universe. if you take away the ball earth, you take away the odds that our planet's creation was a fluke. that means intelligent design. and i'm no bible thumper by any means, so that's a hard pill for me to swallow. my thinking is that if intelligent design needs to be covered up, than we've been deceived as to what intelligent design may imply. it's all speculative of course, but i certainly speculate on the implications of a flat earth regularly. if they (whoever the perpetuators of the lie are) feel the need to cover up our origin story, then it's probably for some type of control. maybe society works better when we think we're an accident. maybe the devil is trying to overpopulate hell. i only have ideas, as it's beyond me.
