I remember I read The Hitch-Hiker when I was six years old and it scared the absolute **** out of me.

I've always considered A Nice Place to Visit and The Hunt to be some of the more interesting meditations on heaven and hell out there. Eye of the Beholder and Nightmare at 20,000 Feet are both deserved classics as well.
