Been tuned into the live feed of the march in Washington and in 59 other countries for most of the day. Currently watching the culmination of the march surrounding Trump Tower.
Reportedly as many as 600,000 in Washington, 200,000 in NYC, up to 750,000 in LA, (its largest in over a decade), and 100,000 in London... nearly 700 marches worldwide from Antarctica to Australia totaling an estimated 2.5 million people.
The most impactful element of these protests is their commitment to unity and solidarity - joining the forces of institutionally-oppressed minorities - blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, immigrants, women, the elderly, the disabled... everyone who this administration has sworn to oppress and made it their mission to divide. That is their greatest strength and it gives me hope.
