I don't really like the thought of joining ideologies to atheism though, not least because atheism is not itself an ideology. I also don't like joining it to something that has evolved to include so many divisive and regressive individuals as 3rd wave feminism has. I'm fine being an atheist who reps feminist ideals, but I don't want it to end up being required for me to conform to an ideology I don't necessarily agree with (3rd wave feminism) in order to call myself an atheist.
