Cloud Nothings - Life Without Sound (2017)
Niche: Pop Punk, Emo, Indie Rock, Post-Hardcore
Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States

One of my favorite groups back for their 5th proper effort after a decent EP split with Wavves in 2015. It's been a long time coming, but I've felt like the final track on Here and Nowhere else would be a great send off and I would've been fine had they kept their discography as is. This album seems unnecessary for their continuum, and doesn't really bring any new ideas to the table.

What it does show though, is some prime ****ing Clarity-era Jimmy Eat World worship, that plays off exactly how you'd expect Cloud Nothings to. The tracks are jangly and full of life, and it could be played as some background lifestyle music. Luckily, that's kinda just my cup of tea.

8/10

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
