Esperanza Spalding - Junjo (2006)
Some sweet sweet Jazz vibes. Piano, drums, and bass is all ya need. My professor recommended her album Chamber Music Society to me a while back, but I wanted to check out her first album before listening to that one, which has a lot more vocals.

Lane 8 - Rise (2015)
Chill electronic/house with some nice vocals. This is one of the better albums in this genre I've listened to in a while. Each track had a unique sound which kept it from getting stale as long as you don't mind the repetition that comes with the genre.

Me'shell NdegéOcello - Plantation Lullabies (1993)
Wow, how have I never heard of her? This was fantastic.. some great soul with funk and hiphop elements.
