I'd been meaning to watch either Dark Matter or Red Dwarf (but it seems the latter is not on netflix instant anymore, as I thought it was), though I think I may want a historical drama more at this point. One with proper character development that isn't mere costume-porn. (Borgias, maybe? I understand there's two different versions on netflix; I've heard conflicting things as to which one is better) Or maybe I'll just rewatch all of Star Trek from the very beginning.

Borgias is good, so is
Versailles. But if you are ok with subtitles the Spanish drama
Isabel is amazing. I've no idea where you'd get it though: I saw it on Sky Arts and am still waiting for season 2 if they ever show it.
Wolf Hall is meant to be good too, and I would also suggest
Mr. Selfridge (about the department store) and
The Paradise, both set in the late nineteeth/early twentieth century. Also, if you have never watched
Robin of Sherwood, definitely recommended.
