Chula, if you don't know it I'd recommend the Judge Dredd graphic novels from 2000 AD, including (possibly in this order) The Cursed Earth, The Day the Law Died, The Judge Child, The Apocalypse War, Unamerican Graffiti, and also Strontium Dog: Portrait of a Mutant. Slaine the King is not bad either, nor the Halo Jones series...
