Probably anime, Japanese song.
I'm fairly sure this is rock because it had a rock-ish section (which I couldn't record unfortunately and it may have been a temporary music change but I'm pretty sure it was part of the song) so I posted it here. Nothing I've tried can identify it so I'm trying to look for humans that have heard it. This played in the school intercom before the bells and nobody knows what it is.
