Getting into fistfights as a teen in the late 70s (long before kicking someone in the face while they were unconscious on the ground became the norm) wasn't violent. It just happened. I won some, I lost some. Those were the times.
Again, where I grew up it was all kids of Irish, Italian, and French-Canadian descent.
