Maybe in
your country it started in 1990,
but it started in the late 70s/early 80s in
my country.
How you can mention "countries that [were] pioneers"
and not mention its home - the US - is just beyond me
[also "Detroit" is a city - just like Chicago (
where House started!!!)].
Not only is this a well-known fact, but I was there -
DJing in Chicago clubs and on radio right in the middle of it.
