It took the London police about 24 hours to name the killer in the Westminster Bridge attack. Well, I had a name for the guy the minute I learned what he'd done!
The way the lesson has been learned, through multiple outrages, is terrible, but to their credit most of the Brit newspapers are showing photos of the victims rather than photos of the murderer on their front pages. At least terror-attack reporting now shows a more responsible sense of focus - an improvement since the day when Timothy McVie was given star treatment with his portrait on the cover of Time magazine. Well done the media; decency can win out over sensationalism.
