I know it's just that it always sounds awkward and a bit off putting whenever it is used. Especially when I know the person doesn't mean it in that context.

You should definitely do that instragram. I need to post up my BBQ ribs that I had for dinner a few nights ago but it's silvercro21. I also post my cats from time to time and other misc. things.
