thats a typical comment from someone who dislikes the band because their too popular and commercial. they've had an impact on the nation as a whole, they've generated enough national excitement for music stores to be opening at midnight just to deal with the demand. they've had enough of an impact to sell 300,000 records in one week, they've had enough of an impact to be in every single newspaper.
yes, i agree in saying its all over the top, but thats the facts and the fact they HAVE done this surely suggests they have the talent. the internet alone wont attract fans if the music is sh*t. musically, its impossible to state their impact atm, give it 5 years, then we'll see if they've made any iota of an impact.
