It must just be my own petty obsession; politicians misusing public funds really bugs me. By all means, let's move on to bigger issues, but let's call them out on those financially small-scale betrayals too. After all, the common man is held accountable for the small-scale stuff. "Didn't pay your internet bill? We're cutting your service!" We can't tell the internet guy, "It's not a lot of money and there are more important issues to worry about." I say hold politicians to the same standard.
