Well on top of that, when did it become standard for memes to become so offensive that they're actually funny. It's almost as if you should feel bad for laughing at some of them, but society has become so prone to it that it's no longer offensive. That more-so goes back to my point that it's a way for people to escape from what is actually happening in the world.
