Now listening to a bunch of alt country, and while I love pure country, it's still nice to hear country from the perspective of rock and alternative types. Uncle Tupelo are a pretty ****ing sweet example. Better than Wilco at least (who rose from the ashes of Uncle Tupelo). No idea why Wilco are so well known but Tupelo languish in relative obscurity.
