Just finished watching a five-part series on Channel 4 called The Trial: A Murder in the Family, which basically created a murder case (using actors) and then set a jury of ordinary people to determine the guilt or innocence of the defendant. A real judge presided and real barristers prosecuted and defended the case, and it gave a great insight into how the British justice system works, how the courts work and how juries come to their verdict. Extremely interesting and quite a surprising ending. Recommended.
