I listen to "classical" (I hate the genre name) ALL THE ****ING TIME, it's an obsession.

I love putting Xenakis, Varese, Stravinsky, Stockhausen, Gesualdo, Grisey, Penderecki, Webern, Schoenberg, Murail etc, up as ****ing loud as possible on my car speakers when I go for a drive

My principle with classical is pretty much the same as metal and jazz, "if it's not loud, then turn it off"

Of course I'll still put some Brahms or Mahler on when I have one of those angst moments where life feels like ****. Also a good late-Beethoven String Quartet or some Bach organ music when I'm contemplating more esoteric things.

But classical music ain't ****ing background music, lol
