Music Banter - View Single Post - Looking For The Name Of A Song/Artist! Early 1960's...

Possibly late 1950's --my dad would sing it often, but myself and siblings are stumped on the name of the song, let alone the name of the artist! ARGHHH! I believe the title was 'Time Is A Wastin' but Google only brings up a song by June Carter, which is definitely NOT it!

Any help would be appreciated, so if there's some late 50's/early 60's buffs out there, here's some of the lyrics as I (we) remember them!

With the chorus being something: Time is a wastin' cause you keep on hesitating---hoping and praying that you'll stop delaying my life. Day, day after day, you keep on dreamin' your life away, ooh life goes on by without you
