That always seems to be the compliant about Devin's solo stuff and I never understand it. Songs like "Bastards 1-2" and "Funeral" don't sound like '80's arena rock to me. If anything I'd say his 2003 album
Accelerated Evolution is the closest thing that comes to arena rock. I mean if all you want is SYL-lite then you can listen to
Physicist and see why maybe it's not such a good thing.
