People call them prog because they use all the cliches of prog, and do the same things that have been done in the 70s and 80s, but with more technical ability on their instruments, and a bit (by a bit i mean a lot) more wanking...Because DT employ prog rock cliches unlike bands such as Radiohead, they are considered prog and Radiohead are not...Thats the thing, people try and put limits on progressive rock, a genre that should have
NO limits.
