Artists don't like to be pigeonholed with labels but fans need the language to describe it. There's one major thing that hasn't been achieved in horrorcore or hip hip. It's never been scary. It's been threatening but not scary. There's post punk, metal, and contemporary classical music that scares me. If you want to separate yourself from the constraints of the horrorcore label make music that actually manages to frighten people. I honestly don't think that has been done before.
