I'm not that into visual arts, but I am generally interested in art and there was some cool stuff there. Plus a good and genuinely talented friend whose works I haven't seen in years exhibited some cool new ones. Plus I wanted to pick up a copy of their magazine which featured one of my texts.
What was annoying though was having to listen to people talking about art. **** your pretentious interpretation. Not that interpreting things is wrong, obviously one does it, but it's all about the experience for me and talking about it is so dull.

The problem with this behaviour is that it's generally done with an eye cast around, as in "Look at me! How much I know about art! Aren't I clever?"
Gahhh!
