The City of Violence (Jjakpae) (2006)

Finally seen this after hours of looking for a player copy online with English subs

With no luck I ended up just buying it physically

Great film, good pacing, good choreography, nice stylistic direction

The only gripe I had if I had to choose is that the direction (eccentric though it may be in execution) can be a bit too fact paced in cut which makes me feel like it's the kind of film that's better upon the second watch

But you know, I guess that could also be a positive considering it would most likely be better each time you watch it

Defo a must see for a martial arts and/or revenge film enthusiast
