I remember:
Thinking that the world really was black & white in the old days.
Thinking that placing a metal coat hanger covered in foil on your TV antenna was normal.
Thinking that having VHF channels 38 and 56 being introduced to augment the regular UHF channels 2, 4, 5, and 7, was the greatest technical achievment ever.
Thinking that as long as I became really awesome at guitar I'd be a rockstar.
Thinking that Kathy Reilly was the best lay I'd ever have.
Thinking that puking up a 5th of Jack Daniels was the sickest I'd ever feel.
Thinking that sitting in the front seat of a van that crashed into a telephone pole was the worst pain I'd ever feel.
Thinking that The Bat was of this earth.
