Disagree. She was leading in all of the polls by a healthy margin right up until the final weeks. The combination of Trump promising he'd repeal Obamacare on Day 1 in office, that Mexico was going to pay for the wall, that he'd ban Muslims, and that he was going to drain the swamp and bring real change to Washington, coupled with his constant "crooked Hillary" and "lock her up", which conveniently was followed by all of the leaked DNC and Hillary emails - and then Mueller going against all proper protocol and announcing 10 days before the election that he was re-opening the inverstigation into her was a perfect storm to cause just enough people to change their minds at the last second.

Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania - 3 states that hadn't voted republican in almost 30 years - gave Trump the electoral win.

He won Wisconsin by 0.77% of the vote, Pennsylvania by 0.72%, and Michigan by only 0.23%.

Face it, a lot of angry older white folks who normally vote for the Democrat candidate really believed that Trump was going to be their Messiah and "Make America Great" again (still haven't figured out what that means).

Clinton would have wiped the floor with Rubio, Cruz, Kasich, etc. But Trump came along and promised the world and just enough people were gullible enough to believe him and his bravado.

Clinton didn't so much lose as much as Trump barely edged out a win by razor thin margins.
