It's a bit more than that...
the whole fanbase treating the show like it's something it isn't, and idolizing Rick like the same fanbase probably did with Brian on Family Guy. Not to mention all the people using the worst of the Rick and Morty quotes
everywhere and truly beating a dead horse.
I haven't even bothered with season 3 yet because of it. And I was one of the first people on board the show when it came out.
