I'm not the one holding up certain standards against what others should be doing. Claiming they should be being more than they are.

I'd love to hear what he's doing if anything to combat these systemic issues that he's concerned with or just stating he is for the sake of complaining about others not doing enough.

Agreed but what usually happens is the person calling out the bigot gets into an argument with the other person that believes it wasn't even a racist thing that was said or that they shouldn't be offended by what was said. It's like they want to decide what should and shouldn't be offensive for the other person.
