I thought your initial review explained it well tbh.

I'll just add this John Cage quote in response to the rest of your post about aesthetics.

“The first question I ask myself when something doesn't seem to be beautiful is why do I think it's not beautiful. And very shortly you discover that there is no reason.”

Taking that and applying it to the album and ones like it that are out of my realm, I ask What does this album have to offer? This album has some really nice drum sounds throughout imo. That's about all the positives I can think of in regards to the record apart from the inoffensiveness of it.
