So we're back to praising God, eh? Well supposedly this lady peppers her worship with a dash of country and folk, so we'll see. For some reason the first track won't play. An omen? A hint from On High? Nah, probably just Spotify being Spotify really. Right: country? Folk? I don't see it. Bland Christian pop pap so far as I can see. Change Jesus to Jesse and it wouldn't really sound that much different. I don't particularly like CCM, but give the likes of Brian and Jenn Johnson and Grayson/Reed credit where it's due: they make decent music. This is just terrible. Right, I hear a country/bluegrass element entering “Fighting Words”, but it's still not enough to hook me. Nah, this is the kind of thing that makes me want to give CCM a wide berth. A very wide berth.
