obv i know this isn’t the case anywhere, but cost is definitely region based. i bet you pay out the ****ing ass for rent in big cities in California. does that suck? hell yeah it does. is paying everybody 5 dollars more an hour gonna fix it? no chance.

Pretty much all the people at my job have two jobs just to make ends meet, so minimum wage clearly does not easily allow you to afford rent and food, or even to afford it at all unless you're living in a hovel eating ramen noodles. You know, unless you raise it.
