Yeah, still not seeing it. Even if voting is "perpetuating evil," of which I am not convinced, not voting does nothing to reduce evil.
This is how it looks to me, in the USA or anywhere else:-
After centuries of nonrepresentation, people died for the right to vote so that they could have some say in their governance. However ineffective that say may be, it's surely better than nothing?
voting = a gesture towards democracy
not voting = go ahead, take it away. I don't need democracy
