i have a friend who dated this girl in high school who used to do that **** to him all the time. she was dealing with a lot of mental issues but would always tell him things like “i’ve taken a bunch of pills” and whatever other non sense that would lead him to believe she was on the verge of doing something v serious. he called 911 twice both times she was fine, in bed. thankfully they’ve split up because it’s clear she has some very serious personal issues that she needs to resolve, but it can be very dangerous to all parties when someone does things like that.
