To me, quiet guitars instantly murder the would-have-been impact of any metal track that goes for aggressive heaviness. This album would be somewhat improved if only I could remix it. I'd turn up the guitars 25-50%, turn the vocalist down about 20-30% and put a bit more reverb on those vocals too.
