So I'll be ski-less this weekend, which sucks a**, but at least I wont have to get new skis.

In other news, I thought i'd add something funny. Doesn't fit in this thread, but I didn't feel it was big enough to make a whole new thread. Today I got the following e-mail from Lake Louise Ski Resort, the mountain I was skiing as when I completely f*cked myself over a few weeks ago (bruised hip bone, massive facial bruising etc. etc..) You know you got worked over when the ski resort sends you a get well card.

Dear Allison,

On behalf of everyone at the Lake Louise Mountain Resort, I would like to wish you a speedy recovery from the injuries you suffered to your hip and face on January 22, 2006. I hope that the service you recieved from our Ski Patrol helped you to endure your injuries as much as possible, and that their diagnosis of your condition was accurate.

Each of our Guests is important to us, and your thoughts on your experience with us will help us reach our mission statement, which is: To provide our Guests with the best vacation and recreational experience possible.

Thank you for choosing the Lake Louise Mountain Resort and we hope to see you on the slopes soon.

I'm pretty sure they send this kind of thing to anyone who gets badly hurt there, but still, it gave me a chuckle.
