Hey, I didn't even know Batty
had a band! RDRR! And it's a double, too, so that might be it for tonight, boys and girls. It's certainly got a lot of energy, though apart from the singer's voice I don't really see the darkwave here, but sure what do I know? Good start anyway. I particularly love the bouncy “She Uses Sex”, but I'd have to say I'm enjoying everything here so far. Great stuff. “I Idolize You” is a fantastic song, while “Drag Me In, Drag Me Under” has more almost a techno aspect to it, very dancy, and this kind of style continues on into the title track. The orchestral epilogue to “I Idolize You” is immense. What a ****ing great album!
